Production planning optimization is one of the most direct and effective measures for refining and chemical enterprises to cope with the complex and changeable market environment and the increasingly fierce industry competition.Taking a refinery in South China as an example,this paper introduces the construction and operation of production optimization system for refining and chemical enterprises.The refinery has gradually formed a mature production optimization system in the process of production and operation for many years,and built a virtual refinery model through PIMS software,and determined a perfect check mechanism to ensure that the model is highly consistent with the actual production.According to the mature production optimization system,the processing benefits were calculated,crude oil,raw material purchase,plant processing load,material flow direction,product structure,and production plan arrangement and adjustment were guided,and good results were obtained.
