Based on the professional characteristics and learning background of Hengyang Normal University students and the school motto spirit,the ideological and political elements of Specialized English for chemistry are dug deeply,and the ideological and political system of Specialized English for chemistry with the era characteristics,school-based characteristics and professional characteristics is constructed,and the teaching mode and evaluation mechanism of the ideological and political system of Specialized English for chemistry suitable for chemistry students are developed.This paper is conducive to stimulating students'interest in learning,and have important value for students'value guidance,knowledge imparting,attitude formation and ability cultivation,so as to achieve the purpose of teaching and educating people.At the same time,it will provide an important theoretical and practical basis for the ideological and political teaching reform of professional English courses.
