Research on the Application of Novel Penetration Enhancer DMI in the Cosmetics Industry
The introduction of active ingredients in cosmetics to enhance transdermal absorption has gradually become prevalent,and the effectiveness of transdermal absorption directly impacts the performance of cosmetics.This article analyzes the principles of promoting penetration of active ingredients in cosmetics and delves into the penetration-enhancing mechanism and properties of the novel penetration enhancer,dimethyl isosorbide(DMI).Furthermore,a fluorescein sodium permeation method is employed to experimentally verify the penetration-enhancing effect of DMI,aiming to provide new insights and directions for the development of novel penetration enhancers in the cosmetics industry.
