Application of Optimized Release Fluid to Oil-based Drilling Fluids in High Sulfur Gas Fields
The Feixianguan Formation of the target layer is characterized by low formation pressure coefficient and good reservoir permeability.The drilling fluid used is of high density,which makes it easy to get pressure differential sticking.Improper treatment or too long treatment time will further lead to wellbore instability,hydrogen sulfide overflow and overflow,and other downhole secondary accidents,which will lead to hole filling and sidedrilling in serious cases.It causes major engineering accidents such as drilling tool burying and hole abandonment.Based on the analysis of the formation characteristics and stuck properties of Feixianguan Formation,an optimized stuck solution for the Feixianguan Formation in high sulfur gas field was found by referring to the conventional oil-based stuck solution in the case of poor effect and limited conditions.The application results show that the solution has the advantages of high success rate and efficiency,good compatibility with oil-based drilling fluid and simple operation process in the treatment of high sulfur content gas field Feixianguan formation.It has a good application prospect in the high sulfur content area.
