In this paper,the effect of adhesives on the sealing performance of flexible graphite composite metal gear gasket was studied,and the high temperature decomposition of different adhesives on the flexible graphite composite metal gear gasket was investigated.The results show that the dispersion state and hardness of the adhesive after curing have influence on the leakage rate of the tooth gasket.Therefore,the choice of liquid,flexible polymer material as flexible graphite and metal core composite adhesive can obtain better sealing performance.In addition,the difference in high temperature resistance of different adhesives will also affect the temperature range of the tooth gasket to a certain extent.
