Analysis of Factors Influencing Laboratory Testing of High Pressure Choke and Kill Manifolds
With the continuous improvement of well control safety awareness, various oilfield well control centers have put forward more stringent requirements for the sealing performance of high-pressure throttling and killing manifolds. The acceptance criteria for the sealing performance of the manifold are mainly based on the pressure test results in the laboratory. In the testing of choke and kill manifolds, defects in the testing system and unscientific testing methods often lead to unqualified test results. This paper uses laboratory comparative testing analysis method to clarify the impact of pressure testing system, pressure testing pipeline, pump frequency, testing method, etc.on the test results. And propose improvement measures for experimental equipment and methods to improve the accuracy of test results and avoid the influence of external factors on test results.
