Advances in the Construction of Superhydrophobic/Superhydrophilic Materials
Not only science research,but also actual engineering applications oil/water separation is an important field.Due to construct superhydrophobic surface material with excellent water repenllency and superhydrophilic surface material with terrific oil repenllency,superhydrophobic/superhydrophilic materials prevalent candidates for oil-polluted wastewater treatment.Over the past years,according to the ability of lotus leaves to resist water,water skipper walk smoothly on water,common nepenthes's slick surface with directional transportation have caught the people's attention.This paper attempts to explain the basics of this phenomenon and to discuss and explain the latest superhydrophobic/superhydrophilic reseach progress.On account of superhydrophobic/superhydrophilic materials can fundamentally change how water interacts with surfaces,it is no exaggeration to say that this technology may be an important measure to change the current status of oil and water separation.
