This paper aims to explore the safety risks and their control strategies in the installation of process piping in petrochemical engineering construction.By analyzing major risks such as leakage of high-pressure and high-temperature media, welding defects, lifting operations, and corrosion of special materials,it proposes comprehensive leak detection and prevention, strengthening welding quality control, standardizing lifting operation procedures, and using anti-corrosion coatings and stress monitoring as control measures. The research results indicate that a systematic risk management plan can effectively reduce the safety risk level of projects, providing theoretical basis and practical guidance for enhancing the safety standards of petrochemical engineering construction.
