Optimization of Ultrasonic Assisted Extraction and Antioxidant Activity of Polysaccharides from Calycopteris floribunda
Ultrasonic-assisted technology was used to extract polysaccharides from Calycopteris floribunda. The effects of ultrasonic time,solid-liquid ratio, ultrasonic power and ultrasonic temperature on the extraction amount of polysaccharides from Calycopteris floribunda were investigated by single factor test.On this basis, orthogonal experiments were designed to optimize the extraction process. Finally, the antioxidant activity of polysaccharides was evaluated using OH free radical and DPPH free radical scavenging ability as indexes. The results showed that under the optimal extraction conditions, the extraction time was 40 min,the solid-liquid ratio was 1∶50 g/mL,the ultrasonic power was 360 W,and the extraction temperature was 15 ℃.The average extraction amount of polysaccharides reached 39.71 mg/g.The median inhibitory concentration(IC50)of polysaccharides on OH and DPPH free radicals were 1.69 mg/mL and 10.45 μg/mL,respectively,and the clearance rates were 99.79%and 91.45%,respectively.The polysaccharides of Calycopteris floribunda had good antioxidant activity. It can be used as a potential antioxidant for food processing and pharmaceutical research and development.
