Effects of Oxidation-reduction Decolorization on the Properties of Yak Hair
As a unique natural fiber material,the study of decolorization technology of yak hair is of great significance to expand its application field.In this paper,the optimum ratio of oxidant and reducing agent,as well as the key parameters such as treatment time and temperature were determined by experiments to ensure the high efficiency and environmental protection of the decolorization process.The physical properties,chemical structure and surface morphology of treated yak hair were evaluated comprehensively.The results showed that the optimized oxidation-reduction decolorization not only significantly improved the whiteness of yak hair,but also improved the physical properties of strength and resilience to a certain extent.At the same time,the surface of yak hair was smoother,which was conducive to the subsequent textile processing.
