With the rapid development of the chemical industry,its position in the national economy has become increasingly important.However,it is also accompanied by the dual challenges of work safety and environmental protection.As the main front for cultivating skilled talents in the future chemical industry,strengthening chemical safety and environmental protection education in the vocational applied chemical technology major is particularly crucial.This paper aims to explore the current situation of chemical safety and environmental protection education in the vocational applied chemical technology major,analyze the existing problems,enhance students'awareness of safety and sense of responsibility for environmental protection,contribute to the sustainable development of the chemical industry,and propose a series of strengthening measures.
