This paper introduces the application fields and structural properties of polyolefin elastomer(POE)products.It is pointed out that POE products have both high elasticity of rubber and good thermoplastic processing properties because of the special two-phase microstructure of POE.In addition,the application of metallocene catalyst and the development of solution polymerization process have promoted the development of POE process.The present situation and difficulties of domestic POE process development are introduced from polymerization raw materials,catalysts and process routes,and the research progress of domestic POE industrial equipment is also described.
