The safety of university laboratories have always been a key focus in campus safety.This paper analyzed the causes of safety accidents in chemistry and chemical engineering laboratories in universities over the past two decades,pointing out some existing problems in current university laboratories.Based on years of work experience,five guidelines for safety activities in university laboratories were proposed,including establishing a sound management system,cultivating good safety habits,forming strict operating procedures,developing regular inspection and self-inspection systems,and establishing clear emergency measures.It is hopeful to form a secure network through multi-dimensional collaboration from security managers to operators,from before to after the experiment,and jointly create a secure research environment from multiple perspectives.
