Transient Stability Analysis of Wind Power Integration into Oilfield Cluster Power Grid Based on ETAP
With the increasing attention to environmental issues and the progress of new energy generation technology, offshore wind power has great potential for development. This paper aims to discuss the transient stability of offshore wind power after it is connected to the power grid of oil fields, and analyze how the priority tripping function in the energy management system(EMS)improves the stability of the power grid.First, the basic principle and classification of wind turbines are introduced, and then the generation characteristics of offshore wind power are described, including the stability of wind speed and its impact on the stability of the grid.Based on the transient stability calculation module of ETAP software, this paper makes a simulation analysis of the power grid of an oil field group in the South China Sea,and shows how EMS can ensure the stability of the power grid through priority trip function under the output fluctuation of the fan.The simulation results show that EMS can effectively cope with the fluctuation of fan output caused by the change of wind speed, quickly restore the stable operation of the power grid, and provide practical guidance for the grid connection of offshore wind power.
