Application of 3D geological modeling technology in basic geological research
There are some mature softwares for 3D geological modeling.3D geological modeling and analysis can be performed by drilling,profile and plane data.Due to the difficulty and complexity of obtaining 3D spatial data,3D geological simulation is usually constructed through analysis,interpretation,inference,interpolation,and extrapolation.The methods of collecting 3D surface information can be divided into three categories:ground measurement methods,remote sensing/camera measurement methods,laser detection and measurement methods.
