Analysis on the Screening,Collection and Application Value of Physical Geological Data in Strategic Mineral Resource Exploration-Taking the Chating Copper Mine in Xuancheng as an Example
Physical geological data are the first-hand physical data directly generated in geological work,mainly including drilling cores,specimens,polished(thin)sections and chemical samples,etc.They are of objectivity,uniqueness and non replicability,and have important storage significance and development and application value.The most important physical geological data in strategic mineral exploration are data of drilling cores.This article analyzes screening method of data of drilling cores in the Chating copper Mine in many ways,collects and stores important,typical,and representative drilling cores,and provides the most direct physical geological data service for the strategic mineral exploration in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River,and further enrich the metallogenic theory.It has important practical significance,it also provides reference for the screening of drilling cores of other mineral deposits.
