Research progress on utilization and extraction of tobacco protein
China has a very wide range of tobacco cultivation.In recent years,its acreage is growing.According to statistics,the tobacco planting area had reached 123.87 hectare in 2011.Tobacco contains many valuable components,among of them,the protein is the most abundant one.Tobacco protein has a high application value in biochemistry,feed,food,medicine and so on.Tobacco protein extraction process has been successfully completed,by the relevant worker.In this paper we summarized the tobacco protein extraction and utilization,and forecasted the tobacco protein development prospects.
