So far, amyloid fibrils had been linked to about 20 different types of degenerative diseases in humans, including Parkinson's syndrome,Alzheimer's disease, systemic nonneurological amyloidosis, and others.Owing to the advantages of large specific surface area and near-infrared light response of graphene oxide(GO),Curcumin-graphene oxide(Cur-GO)nanocomposites were prepared, and the loading capacity of Curcumin could reach 213 mg/g,and the controlled release under near-infrared light could be realized.Thioflavin T(ThT)analysis demonstrated that Cur-GO inhibited the aggregation of amyloid fibrils(inhibition efficiency of 85%)in a dose-dependent manner. The Cur-GO nanocomposite designed and prepared can provide new drug material and research basis for the treatment and control of amyloidosis.
