Preparation and properties of surface active polymers by single electron transfer active radical polymerization
The random binary copolymer PAM-co-PAOS was prepared by single electron transfer radical polymerization using acrylamide(AM)and sodium α-allylsulfonate(AOS)as functional monomers and 2-chloropropionamide(CPA)as initiator. The results showed that the optimal process conditions were c(monomer)=2.5 mol/L,n(monomer)∶n(CPA)∶n(CuBr)∶n(Me6TREN)=769∶1.2∶1∶3.8;m(AOS)∶m(AM+AOS)=3.5%.The performance of the surface-active polymer PAM-co-PAOS was investigated, which showed good viscosity enhancement and surface activity in Daqing simulated brine.
