Influence of lower impeller structure on flow field in stirred reactor
The process materials in the stirred reactor can be stirred and mixed uniformly, which greatly improves the processing efficiency of the process materials. The internal flow field characteristics of the stirred reactor were numerically analyzed by CFD,and the influence of the lower impeller structure on the flow velocity was studied. The research results show that when the impeller number increases, the stirring efficiency will increase, the flow velocity in the core stirring region will be larger, and the flow velocity in the rotating domain will increase. When the blade angle increases, the flow velocity in the impeller stirring area will increase, but the flow velocity will decrease in the lower part of the rotating area.
