Progress in pore modulation of graphene oxide separation membranes
Membrane separation plays a crucial role in gas separation due to its unique advantages.Graphene oxide membranes with narrow interlayer spacing distribution and high physicochemical stability are highly suitable for gas separation. However,it is challenging to control the interlayer spacing of graphene oxide membranes, which limits their ability to precisely separate sub-nanometer gas molecules.Modification of graphene oxide membranes can optimize their sieving capability for gas molecules. This review summarizes the progress in regulating the interlayer channels of graphene oxide membranes, including methods such as thermal reduction, molecular cross-linking,and intercalated nanoparticles. The research progress of graphene oxide/metal-organic framework composite materials is also introduced.
