Optimization of extraction process for condensed tannins from almond skin by enzyme method
On the basis of single factor analysis, the enzymatic extraction process of condensed tannins from almond skin was optimized using response surface methodology. The effects of enzyme amount, solution pH,extraction temperature, and extraction time on the extraction amount of condensed tannins from almond skin were investigated using almond skin as an indicator. The results showed that the established process model for extracting condensed tannins from almond skin was extremely significant, and under the conditions of enzyme amount of 26 U/g,solution pH of 4.2,extraction temperature of 52 ℃,and extraction time of 4 h,the highest extraction amount of condensed tannins from almond skin was found, with a predicted value of 38.71 mg/g and an actual value of 38.73 mg/g.This indicates that the optimal extraction process for condensed tannins from almond skin using enzyme method was successfully established.
