Safety valve discharge shock and response is a typical transient response problem in vibration engineering.According to the relationship between the length L of the straight pipe section after the valve and the characteristic length L*,four possible impact forms are discussed.Using the Laplace transform and inverse transformation, the analytical solutions of the transient response of four shocks are given, showing that the maximum value of the shock response is a function of the ratio of the full opening time of the safety valve to the self-oscillation period of the system.Accordingly, the dynamic load coefficient DFL value of the safety valve discharge system is analyzed and proposed.
