Aiming at the shortcomings of traditional venting standpipes,such as low outlet velocity and low diffusion height.This article conducts a feasibility study on a new type of vent riser based on theoretical analysis and simulation methods.The results show that the kinetic energy of the venting medium comes from the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet and the enthalpy of the medium.The venting process is a process of pressure drop and temperature drop;through reasonable design of the new vent riser,it is comparable to the traditional riser without changing the import and export conditions.The export speed is increased by 37.5%-41.7%,the diffusion height of high-concentration combustible gas is increased,and the potential harm to ground workers is reduced.This new type of vent riser is practical and can provide new ideas for the design of vent risers in the future.
