To explore the stability on inverted U-type self-support tube system under construction and operation conditions, the nonlinear limit element calculation method is used to study the influence of construction deviation, external construction force, hydraulic test and internal pressure factors on the stability. The calculation results show that the construction deviation, external construction force and hydraulic test will reduce the stability energy of the inverted U-type self-support pipe system, and the internal pressure is beneficial to its stability. The inverted U-type self-support pipe system is sensitive to the initial tilt deviation of the construction. When the defect value is 1/1 000,the stability safety factor is only reduced by 0.8%,while when the defect value reaches 4/135,the stability safety factor is reduced by 24.6%.The limit load calculation load of the horizontal external force and the vertical external force of the construction is 339 N and 1 339 N respectively,so special attention should be paid in the construction process.Hydrostatic test significantly reduces the stability, which will lead to the stable safety risk of the pipe system,so sufficient external support for the pipe system to ensure the stability out of the plane.
