A comparative analysis was conducted on the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the deposited metal of domestic J607RHDQ welding rod and imported LB-65L welding rod from Japan.The welding line energy,series temperature impact,non plastic transition temperature,and diffusion hydrogen content of the weld metal were studied.The results showed that the overall performance of domestic welding rod J607RHDQ was at the same level as LB-65L welding rod,and the low-temperature impact energy was much higher than the requirement of 80 J at-50℃.The low-temperature toughness and fracture toughness of the weld metal were higher,and the VTE、VTS,and NDTT temperatures were lower.However,domestically produced J607RHDQ welding rod had better welding line energy adaptability and moisture absorption ability,which can replace imported LB-65L as a supporting welding rod for 07MnNiMoDR steel plate.It was used for the construction of-50℃low-temperature ethylene spherical storage tanks,truly solving the"bottleneck"problem during the construction process of low-temperature ethylene projects.
