In order to analyze the flow field and flow law inside the impeller when the centrifugal pump conveys the solid-liquid two-phase flow,numerical simulation of the solid-liquid two-phase flow field inside the centrifugal pump with two different vanes was carried out by applying FLUENT software.The RNG turbulence model was used to compare and analyze the velocity and pressure fields of the two,and the performance of the solid-liquid two-phase centrifugal pump was predicted.The results show that:the results of this numerical simulation are more consistent with the experimental measurements,which proves that the solid-liquid two-phase turbulence dynamics model adopted in this paper is reasonable and feasible,and has a greater value of engineering applications;the average pressure distribution of each flow channel of the two types of impellers is similar,but the head of the composite blade is higher than that of the five blades;under the same solid-phase particle volume fraction conditions,the efficiency of the two pumps with different vane parameters with the solid-phase particle size varies greatly.No matter which kind of pump can not guarantee that in a variety of working conditions have relatively high efficiency.Therefore,the solid-liquid two-phase pump,according to the properties of the slurry targeted design and use is an important principle.
