Application of Hydrolysis Acidification+Biological Contact Oxidation in the Treatment of Printing and Dyeing Wastewater
In order to treat pollutants in printing and dyeing wastewater more efficiently, the hydrolysis acidification+biological contact oxidation method was adopted to treat mixed dye wastewater. The influence of each process stage on wastewater treatment was studied, and the removal effect of chemical oxygen demand(COD)was emphasized due to the high COD content in printing and dyeing wastewater. The results showed that the removal rate of COD during the hydrolysis and acidification stage was 29.17%.After further two-stage biological contact oxidation, the COD removal rate increased to 90.92%.When the flow rate was 5 L/h and the pH was 7,a higher COD removal rate of 92.58%could be achieved, and the treatment cost was reduced to a certain extent. This method can effectively remove COD,five-day biochemical oxygen demand(BOD5),chromaticity,and ammonia nitrogen from mixed dye wastewater.
