Disputes,Selection and Wear Repair of Casting Steel for Supporting Wheel and Rolling Rings of Chemical Converter
According to the design specifications,it is recommended to use general engineering cast carbon steel parts ZG 310-570 or ZG 340-640 materials for the supporting wheel and rolling ring materials of chemical converters,which have faster wear when applied to different specifications of the converter.Through analysis,it is pointed out that the chemical composition and mechanical properties of ZG 310-570 or ZG 340-640 materials specified in the"General Engineering Cast Carbon Steel Parts"cannot guarantee their performance requirements as wear-resistant parts,which may lead to disputes over whether they pass inspection but cannot meet usage requirements.A repair plan is proposed for the commonly used cast carbon steel supporting wheels with severe wear,which are embedded with ZG 42Cr1Mo forged outer sleeves,to ensure the performance and service life of the parts.After comparison and testing,the wear resistance performance has significantly improved.It is recommended to use large low alloy steel casting ZG 42Cr1Mo for the design of the support wheel of the chemical converter.
