Preparation of Magnesium Loaded Modified Chitosan and Its Application in Nitrogen and Phosphorus Wastewater Treatment
Using chitosan,MgCl2·6H2O as raw materials and glutaraldehyde as crosslinking agent, the adsorption material of chitosan containing magnesium was prepared. The treatment effect of chitosan containing magnesium on nitrogen and phosphorus in wastewater was studied. The results of infrared analysis show that the modified chitosan containing magnesium does contain Mg(OH)2 and MgO.The experimental results show that when the mass concentration of ammonia nitrogen and phosphate in the simulated wastewater is 50 mg/L,the adsorption capacity and removal rate of ammonia nitrogen and phosphate are higher under the conditions that the dosage of modified chitosan containing magnesium is 1.6 g/L,the reaction time is 480 min and the wastewater pH is 8.5.When the concentration of ammonia nitrogen and phosphate in simulated wastewater increased, the adsorption capacity of ammonia nitrogen and phosphate increased, and the removal rate decreased, and the removal rate of ammonia nitrogen decreased more than that of phosphate.
