Study on the Removal of Ammonia Nitrogen From Electroless Nickel Plating Wastewater by Sodium Hypochlorite Oxidation Method
In order to achieve efficient removal of ammonia nitrogen from electroless nickel plating wastewater, sodium hypochlorite was used as an oxidant in this paper. The effects of sodium hypochlorite input, influent pH value, reaction time, and aeration rate on ammonia nitrogen removal efficiency were studied. The results showed that sodium hypochlorite input, influent pH value, and reaction time had a significant impact on ammonia nitrogen removal efficiency, but the influence of aeration rate was relatively small. When the ratio of sodium hypochlorite dosage to ammonia in wastewater reaches 10:1,the reaction time is 30 minutes, the inlet pH value is 8,and the aeration rate is 0.40 L/min,the removal rate of ammonia nitrogen in wastewater reaches 92.05%,indicating a high removal efficiency.
