Analysis and Optimization of Abnormal Operation of Hydrogenation Distillation Column
After running of the distillation column of kerosene hydrofining unit, there are many problems, such as high nC10 loss rate at the bottom, high consumption of hot oil at the bottom of the column, and blockage of the heat exchanger at the bottom of the column. The workshop analyzes the problems one by one and finds that the decrease in separation efficiency of the distillation column results in a high loss rate of nC10 at the bottom and a high content of refined kerosene nC9 at the bottom of the column. The heat exchanger at the bottom of the column is prone to blockage during initial use after maintenance, and the reduced heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchangers is due to plant fluctuations causing fouling of the heat exchanger, resulting in a decrease in heat exchange efficiency. The workshop takes measures one by one, using ASPEN PLUS analysis to optimize the distillation column. An additional basket filter is added between the bottom of the distillation column and the discharge heat exchanger.Take advantage of the maintenance opportunity to clean some heat exchangers and optimize the heat load of distillation column. After the implementation of the measures, the product yield is improved, and the energy consumption of the plant is reduced. The problem of column bottom blockage is solved, and the heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger is improved, achieving the goal of energy conservation and consumption reduction. The relevant experience and practices can be used for reference by peers.
