An Improved Scheme for Distillation and Purification of Vinylene Carbonate
The demand for vinylene carbonate in the market is growing rapidly,and intermittent distillation is commonly used in the industry to purify vinylene carbonate(VC),resulting in low product purity and automation degree,as well as high equipment investment.This paper optimizes the distillation process by using a three-stage continuous distillation column and process flow simulation software for calculation.The purity has been improved and verified in a certain project,achieving a VC extraction with a mass concentration of 99.9%(actual production data).After crystallization purification,all indicators of the product meet the requirements of GB/T 27801 for superior products.Continuous distillation improves the purity of VC,stabilizes its quality,reduces labor intensity,and lowers investment costs.
