A Method for Quickly Modifying Elevation Alignment of Pipes in PDMS
Alignment of piping components is a basic and frequent operation in PDMS modeling.Since pipeline modeling requires repeated modifications and ad-justments,the operation of adjusting the elevation of the piping system is of a huge workload and rather time-consuming.Usually,one alignment operation for a pipe fitting in PDMS requires more than five mouse clicks. Moreover, the number of pipe fittings in the station yard can often reach hundreds or even thousands. In addition, the operation process is also affected by factors such as system configuration, the number of operating elements and the range of capture reference points.Problems like operation lags and long waiting times frequently occur, which affects the operation efficiency of designers. In view of the situation where the station yard is large, the pipeline network in-terface is wide, the number of pipelines is large, and pipe fittings are scat-tered and need to be aligned, relying on the PML secondary development en-vironment in PDMS,a set of methods for quickly aligning and modifying the elevation of PDMS pipelines has been developed.
