This paper mainly discusses the necessity and feasibility of the teaching reform of organic chemistry in Guizhou Minzu University.Through the analysis of the existing teaching status,some teaching reform and personnel training schemes and are put forward:including the restriction of college entrance examination,the renewal of teaching content,the improvement of teaching methods,the application of dialectical materialist world outlook and methodology,the strengthening of experimental teaching and the optimization of talent training program.These reform measures will help to improve the teaching effect,cultivate more outstanding organic chemistry talents,and promote the economic development of the western region.
