Spray Optimization of Mist Eliminator for Desulfurization Absorber
Absorber demister is an important parts of desulfurization systems. The function of the demister is to capture the fog particles and slurry droplets enlivened by the smoke in the process of spray absorption. The efficiency of the demister is not only related to its structure but also to the weight and particle size of the fog particles. The nozzle atomization particle size is related to the viscosity of the absorber, the spray claw force, and the nozzle structure. When the performance of the demister and the diameter of the fog particle are well matched, can a good demister effect be achieved. In this study, the spray control of the mist eliminator is discussed, and some suggestions are provided for improving the efficiency of the mist eliminator, reducing the risk of fouling and clogging of the equipment, optimizing the water consumption of the mist eliminator and selecting the control system configuration.
