Exploration of Comprehensive Energy System Optimization and Renovation for a 150 000 t Annual Capacity Methylamine DMF Plant
This study conducted an in-depth analysis and optimization of the energy system for a 150 000t annual capacity methylamine DMF plant. It was found that the original system had issues such as inadequate steam utilization and insufficient waste heat recovery, leading to high energy consumption.By implementing measures such as heat cascading utilization, enhanced waste heat recovery, optimization of the circulating water system, and vaporization heating under severe cold conditions,a comprehensive upgrade of the energy system was achieved. After the renovation, there was a significant increase in the recovery of medium and low-pressure steam,a substantial increase in the utilization rate of distillation waste heat, and an improved proportion of circulating water usage. The energy system indicators were fully optimized. The renovation results indicate that the overall energy consumption of the methylamine DMF plant was reduced by more than 20%,providing an effective path for energy conservation and emission reduction in the chemical industry.
