Study on the Antibacterial Effect of Benzalkonium Bromide Disinfectant Targeting Environmental Bacteria
In order to explore the antibacterial effect of benzalkonium bromide disinfectant on environmental bacteria. In the study,Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were selected for sterilization experiments to compare their antibacterial effects on environmental bacteria at different concentrations and treatment times. In the comparison of antibacterial effects at different action times,1%benzalkonium bromide disinfection has a high antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, achieving 100%antibacterial effect in 15 minutes. In the comparison of the minimum antibacterial conditions for large intestine rods,a 1.2%benzalkonium bromide solution can achieve 100%antibacterial effect after 5 minutes of action.Meanwhile, comparing the effects of neutralizing agents on antibacterial activity,it was found that neutralizing agents had no significant effect on the antibacterial effect of Staphylococcus aureus. The research content will provide technical reference for the promotion and application of benzalkonium bromide disinfectant.
