Analysis of Triethylamine Wastewater Treatment Technology
Triethylamine is a common organic amine compound widely used in many industrial processes, but its wastewater discharge poses serious environmental hazards. This study analyzes the characteristics of triethylamine wastewater, discusses the current status of triethylamine wastewater treatment technologies, and introduces conventional treatment methods including physical, chemical, and biological treatments,as well as MCHS biological pretreatment. Results indicate that when the concentration of triethylamine in wastewater is below 50 mg/L,it can be directly treated in a conventional AO biological tank;however, when the concentration exceeds 500 mg/L,it is recommended to add pre-treatment processes before entering the biological system. Finally, some suggestions are proposed emphasizing the importance of green and efficient treatment technologies for environmental protection and sustainable development.
