Analysis of Sulfur Removal in the Preparation of Anhydrous Hydrogen Fluoride by Fluorite Sulfuric Acid Method
The fluorite sulfuric acid process is widely used both domestically and internationally to prepare anhydrous hydrogen fluoride.During this process, sulfur vapor will be generated, and as the temperature in the system decreases, the sulfur vapor will condense and accumulate into a solid form, continuously sticking to the conveying pipelines and production equipment, causing serious corrosion reactions on the inner walls of the conveying pipelines and production equipment. At the same time, the deposited solid sulfur will also block the pipelines and equipment, causing production safety accidents and posing great hidden dangers. This article focuses on analyzing and introducing the sources of sulfur elements, the causes of sulfur elemental production, and the removal of sulfur elemental in the production process of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride prepared by fluorite sulfuric acid method.
