Comparison and Study of Process Plans for Replacing Liquid Ammonia with Urea as Denitration Reducing Agent in Thermal Power Plant
At present, the process of low nitrogen burner and selective catalytic reduction(SCR)is widely used in denitration of thermal power plants in china. In the past, the reductant for denitration was usually liquid ammonia, which was a major hazard source. With the increasing requirements of safety and environmental protection,it is necessary to reform the ammonia production process to eliminate major hazards. In this paper, two common processes of ammonia production from urea are introduced by taking the reconstruction project of a thermal power plant as an example.By comparing the investment and operating cost of the two processes, the optimal scheme is obtained, and the economic and social benefits before and after the reconstruction are analyzed.the research methods and conclusions in this paper have good reference significance for other similar reconstruction projects.
