With the acceleration of urbanization,urban gas engineering has become an important part of urban infrastructure construction.This paper discusses the key points and application practice of gas pipeline installation technology in urban gas engineering.This paper first summarizes the importance of gas pipeline installation technology and its role in urban gas supply system,and then analyzes the technical points in the gas pipeline installation process in detail,including material selection,pipeline connection,anti-corrosion treatment,construction safety and so on.Combined with specific engineering cases,the practical experience of polyethylene pipe in urban gas pipeline installation process is discussed,which provides theoretical basis and technical reference for improving the safety,economy and durability of urban gas engineering.
