This paper proposes digital empowerment as a new driving force for educational reform in chemical engineering design courses.The aim is to address the mismatch between traditional roles of teachers and students,course content delivery,teaching materials,and assessment methods in conventional design courses and the current demands for digital transformation in education.This initiative seeks to propel chemical engineering design education towards a more efficient and intelligent direction.
