Discussion on the Practice of Goal-Oriented Teaching Method in Chemical Engineering English in Higher Education Institution
Chemical Engineering English teaching plays an important role in higher education,but traditional teaching methods have certain limitations in improving students'language skills and professional competence.Therefore,this study shows the importance of goal-oriented teaching method in improving students'language skills and professional competence through the analysis of the current situation and problems in teaching Chemical English,as well as the proposal of research background.This paper proposes the practical strategies of using goal-oriented teaching method in the teaching of Chemical English through literature review,field investigation and classroom practice,including setting clear learning objectives,designing teaching content tailored to individual needs,adopting various teaching methods and forms,and conducting practical training and evaluation feedback.After implementing the goal-oriented teaching method,students'language abilities and professional competence have been significantly improved,and their learning interest and motivation have also been stimulated.The research results indicate that the goal-oriented teaching method has certain feasibility and effectiveness in the teaching practice of Chemical Engineering English in higher education institution.It has important theoretical and practical significance for improving the English proficiency of college students,cultivating their professional qualities,and promoting the reform of English teaching in higher education.
