Study on Epoxy Resin/Graphene Nanocomposite Anticorrosive Primer
A series of graphene and epoxy resin composites were successfully prepared by one-step method from modified graphene and epoxy resin, and their anticorrosion properties were characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM),electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and polarization curve. In this paper, the influence of graphene content on the properties of epoxy anticorrosive primer was investigated. The results show that the graphene/epoxy resin composite presents a block structure.Compared with the monomer graphene and epoxy resin, the anti-corrosion primer can significantly improve the anti-corrosion effect of steel structures. The thickness of anti-corrosion coating is positively related to its anti-corrosion related properties. The salt spray test time of the optimized anti-corrosion primer material can reach more than 2 000 h,and the research results can provide reference for the anti-corrosion research of mechanical engineering materials.
