Effects of Dry and Wet Cycle and Root Diameter on Disintegration Characteristics of Red Clay
Weeping willow has many advantages, such as well-developed root system, easy survival and good ecological benefits, and also has good ornamental value. Therefore,it has a wide range of applications, especially in the construction of waste landfills and landfills has played an important role.In order to grasp the influence of the root system of weeping willow on the disintegration characteristics of red clay, the role of weeping willow can be better played. The roots of drooping willow that had been planted for one year were collected and made into root-soil complex with root content of 0.4% and root diameter of 1 mm and 2 mm.Then, the sample was subjected to 3 dry and wet cycles, and then disintegration test was carried out.Through the test,it can be found that the root system has a certain effect on the improvement of the soil disintegration resistance. With the increase of the number of dry and wet cycles, the disintegration of the root-soil complex will be faster, and the resistance analysis of the root system with small diameter will be more obvious.
