Hydrogenation of Levulinic Acid over Composite Oxide Supporting Heteropolyacid Catalyst
Cu-Zn-Fe composite oxide supporting silicotungstic acid catalyst was prepared by impregnation method,characterized with XRD,BET and SEM,and investigated in the hydrogenation performance of levulinic acid(LA).The results showed that the addition of silicotungstic acid can significantly improve the reaction performance of the catalyst.Using water as solvent,the CuZnFe-30SiW catalyst demonstrated more than 95%of LA conversion and more than 85%of γ-valerolactone yield under 180 ℃ of reaction temperature,6 hours of reaction time,4 MPa of initial hydrogen pressure conditions.
