Study on Environment-Friendly Synthesis Process of 5-Methyl-7-Methoxyisoflavone
2,4-dihydroxy-6-methyldeoxybenzoin was synthesized from 3,5-dihydroxy-toluene by Hoesch reaction,then get 5-methyl-7-hydroxyisoflavone via cyclization process.Further preparation of 5-methyl-7-methoxyisoflavone by methoxylation of dimethyl carbonate.The total yield under the optimum production conditions was about 47.8%.
