Corrosion is a common phenomenon in industries such as chemical,petroleum,and papermaking.Corrosion can cause equipment and pipelines to"running,emitting,dripping,leaking",and in severe cases,accidents such as fire and explosion can occur.Therefore,researching and solving the corrosion problem of equipment and materials is closely related to enterprise safety production,preventing environmental pollution,and protecting people's health.The measures to deal with corrosion were briefly introduced.The corrosion leakage case of the corrosion inhibitor tank was selected as the research object,and the overview and corrosion situation of the corrosion inhibitor tank were described.Starting from the corrosion inhibitor used,the reasons for the leakage were analyzed.The results showed that a 1%aqueous solution of polyol phosphate ester had a pH value of about 2~3.5 and exhibited strong acidity.It reacted chemically with a carbon steel corrosion inhibitor tank,causing corrosion and perforation of the tank.After taking corresponding protective measures,the corrosion inhibitor tank operated normally and had a good use effect.
