Analysis of the Efficacy of Self-designed Zaoteng Anshen Decoction in Treating Insomnia of Liver Depression and Blood Deficiency Type
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of self-designed Zaoteng Anshen decoction in treating insom-nia of liver depression and blood deficiency type.Methods A total of 122 insomnia patients with liver depression and blood deficiency treated in the Fifth Hospital of Yulin,Shaanxi Province from November 2019 to October 2022 were conveniently selected as the study objects,and divided into two groups by random number table method.The control group(61 cases)was treated with Esazolam tablets,and the observation group(61 cases)was treated with self-prepared Zaoteng Anshen decoction.Clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score,sleep quality,brain derived nerve growth factor(BDNF)and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)levels and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of observation group(91.80%)was higher than that of control group(78.69%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.171,P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,such as difficulty in falling asleep or waking up early,irritability,fatigue,sad-ness and crying,easy to panic after sleep,shortness of breath and burnout,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of sleep quality in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of BDNF and 5-HT in observa-tion group were higher than those in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Self-designed Zaoteng Anshen decoction for the treatment of insomnia of liver depression and blood deficiency type can improve the clinical symptoms of the patients,and has a positive effect on the improvement of sleep quality and neurological func-tion,and it has a high level of safety.
